Wash away the dust of your day with a night of soulful sounds and fiery swing at The Lounge when Australian jazz drummer Andrew Dickeson celebrates one of the world’s most famous jazz bands, Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers. Joined by four of Australia’s absolute finest – Simon Ferenci on trumpet, Hugh Barrett on piano, Jacob Graham on bass and rising star Justin Yeo on the saxophone – Andrew and his quintet honour the legendary drummer and his ensemble with an evening of foot-tapping swing, featuring classic Jazz Messengers repertoire, including Bobby Timmons’ hard bop anthem Moanin’ and much more.

This event is part of Chatswood Culture Bites, Willoughby City Council’s innovative program of music, theatre, comedy and more in Chatswood CBD.
