Willoughby resident to turn on the lights!
North Shore resident Michael Moor has been named as the lucky winner of Willoughby Council’s Lights On competition, winning the opportunity to switch on the lights at Vivid Sydney at Chatswood when the world’s largest festival of light, music and ideas returns to Chatswood from 27 May - 13 June.
Michaels’ winning entry into the competition stated he was looking forward to Vivid Sydney at Chatswood because:
Chatswood already glows in a spectacular brightness by day but Vivid Sydney lights up the locality at night like nowhere else. With Vivid Sydney, Chatswood shines 24 hours a day.
Michael will switch on the lights in a special event on Vivid Sydney at Chatswood’s first night at 5.30pm, Friday 27 May and also be able to take a special preview tour through some of this year’s amazing light installations.
“Congratulations to Michael on winning this exciting opportunity to switch on the lights at this year’s Vivid Sydney at Chatswood! We wanted to give our community the chance to be involved, and let someone have the honour of turning on the lights on this special occasion,” Willoughby Mayor Gail Giles-Gidney said.
