Absent Friends

An exhibition of textile artworks by Ro Cook, honouring death and friendship.

Absent Friends is an exhibition of textile artworks that connects the themes of death and friendship. Ro Cook presents unique works representing individual friends and family members. The work is made using traditional techniques on hand loomed fabric with hand printing, stitching and embellishment.

The exhibition is also a response to the modern sanitised, Western way of dealing with death, and investigates the bond of textiles as the uniting element in all communities.

Opening Hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 10am - 4pm
